BEFA Appeal - A shout for some more of the humble sprout

Due to the recession, organisers of Christmas shelters and Open Christmas events in East Anglia expect the demand for their hospitality to be high this year and the Buckingham Emergency Food Appeal(BEFA)which supplies much of the food appealed last week for more donations of sprouts and other fresh produce from farmers across the region.

As well as sprouts BEFA, which is based near North Walsham,are looking for supplies of other fresh vegetables including carrots, parsnips, and cabbages, as well as eating and cooking apples.”
